Martin Tidd, alongside mortuary and senior members of Trust staff, was honoured to cut the ribbon and formally re-open Watford's General Hospital's refurbished Chapel of Rest earlier this month.
The Watford Observer's Editor, Zoe Foresy thanked Primus and wrote how Lyn Anderson, the Mortuary Manager, was grateful to Primus for their "donations of time, materials and monies which enabled this vision to become reality... The Interior design team at John Lewis and Primus Building Company were amongst the businesses that came forward to lend a hand"
It was also reported on the West Hertfordshire Hospital NHS website that the building work consisted of a total of "£35,000, which was carried out free of charge by London-based chartered building company Primus...
The mortuary team would like to recognise the grateful help and support... Martin Tidd, Chief Executive of Primus said: When the opportunity of being involved in creating a better environment for bereaved relatives and friends was put forward to us, we were more than happy to assist as we could see the direct benefits of our charitable contribution going to a worthy cause"
